Korps Commander
I've decided to include members from Helionet, also, cause there aren't enough KL active members here anyway.
Senor Halo Blue 9
I belive it is Your Mom cause I am a Hippocrite....
Korps Commander
Ah, of all the answers you could pick......

Btw, I'm not voting.
Senor Halo Blue 9
You better not! and I take it as an insult that you put my name first! mad.gif
Korps Commander
That was an honest random mistake.
Senor Halo Blue 9
It seems surprising to me as to why that does not strike me as the truth....
Korps Commander
Um......uh......no comment.
myscrnnm
Looks as though TWO PEOPLE have voted for me!!!!!1 I am not supportive of some religions, but I respect the Hindu and Buddhist religions.
Senor Halo Blue 9
Thank you for respecting Hinduism and Buddism but do you respect Christianity?

It is okay if the Christians just go to church and pray at the foot of their beds, but when they start using the bible as an argument in congress, I get really pissed off.
Senor Halo Blue 9
I agree with that statement completely, that idiot who commited the BLT or something like that murder dude said he was possed by Satan....yeah sure whatever....

It is just plain bull. And that thing about Katrina being a punishment for the peoples' sins?! I mean, I know there are quote a few bad people in New Orleans, but how can those radical Christians say that when innocent people are starving and in the cold?!
Senor Halo Blue 9
How the hell can you blame any natural occurance for the reasons of your sins? Sure maybe for disrespecting nature (waste, pollution) but not on oh god hates us time to go back and pray....?

Exactly, which is how I justify my defiance of Chrisitanity.
Korps Commander
I wonder who voted for you, myscrnnm...maybe Genesis and /\/\/?

BTW, myscrnnm isn't hindu, senorhaloblue9.

He did not say that I am Hindu.
Korps Commander
Well, that's what senorhaloblue9 was assuming. After one of your posts somewhere, he said "I am a Hindu also" or something like that.
Senor Halo Blue 9
Yes I did but just for reference KC not saying I think myscrnm is Hindu which i never assumed in the first place....
Korps Commander
Ah, well, you sounded like it.

I don't think so, not here anyway, and that's what matters.

You can't hate a whole religion because a few people are being dumb.

Defying a religion does not mean hating it.

defy≠hate

And the fact our great nation was founded on Biblical principles means nothing to you? Or has man simply become too "advanced" for such "primitive" ideas?
Korps Commander
The fact that our great nation was founded on religion being seperate from law is also an important fact, BTW.
Spaceman3750
Show me in our Constitution where it says that Church and State are seperate.
Korps Commander
I don't believe this..........you're asking me about something that virtually every child in the U.S. knows about.........but ok.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...." which basically means that the law shall have nothing to do with religion.

Read this if you STILL don't believe me that the U.S. is a secular country. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_and_st...ates_of_America
Spaceman3750
NO, it means that Congress cannot force someone to become part of a particular religion, or ban a religion, or prohibit people from exercising their religion. It says nothing about seperation of Church and State.
Mynck

Isn't that pretty much what separation of church and state means?
Spaceman3750
See above...
Mynck
See my edit.
Korps Commander
See a panda! smile.gif

And yes, btw, you are right, but spacey refuses to understand it.......so.......
Spaceman3750
Nope. What people saying it means is that you cannot mention God in public places, you can't whistle a Christian song as you walk down the hall, etc... What it really means is that Congress can't force you to join a religion, and it can't keep you from practicing yours.
Korps Commander
What do public places and halls with songs have to do with the law, which was supposed to be the subject of this argument?
Mynck

Those people are... bonk.gif
I think there was some issue with a "Bible Club" at a school before. And it was prohibited. Why???? It's completely voluntary. People who like the subject, can go there and do stuff. And there's the removal of all the religious stuff on government property. Like anyone would really be offended by a statue. rolleyes.gif

So yeah, I agree.

I did not say that it means nothing to me, you assumed that it means nothing to me. But in the 21st century, the United States must adapt and accept science. Because the government is so predominantly Christian, South Korea has beaten us in cloning technology.
Korps Commander
Yeah, Bush is being fanatical.
Senor Halo Blue 9
I agree with that statement and to all of you Bush fans, Buck Fush!
Korps Commander
I don't get those last 2 words, but oh well.

Kind of like the spacekid.
Senor Halo Blue 9
Who is spacekid?
Korps Commander
The guy who believes in creationism.
Spaceman3750
Yeah, apparently the only one around here who believes in Creation... EVOLUTION IS NOT SCIENCE, IT IS FAITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CANNOT EXPERIMENT IN A CONTROLLED ENVIORNMENT TO PROVE IT, YOU CANNOT OBSERVE THE RESULTS, AND THEREFORE, IT CANNOT BE SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT SIMPLE FACT!!!!!

But as evolution has happened before our very eyes, you do not need several trials to prove it. if it happens before our very eyes, I think that that is proof enough.
Spaceman3750
That which you are seeing is called Metamorphosis, which is completely different than evolution wink.gif.

Also, you still not have explained how Evolution can exist without a missing link to be found anywhere wink.gif.

Metamorphosis is not evolution. They are two related, but different things.

There is no missing link, intelligent people use science to find the truth.
Spaceman3750
Then what is the missing link? DARWIN HIMSELF even admitted before his death that there was a MAJOR FLAW in his THEORY... There was NO missing link to be found, a REQUIREMENT for anything you say to be true.

Facts are proven when two competent observers agree on it. And since there have been competent observers who have witnessed evolution, we can conclude that evolution is true.
Spaceman3750
You are avoiding the topic. Answer my question, how can you have Evolution but no missing link?
