This is pretty cool. They gave an artist a hit of LSD and had him do 9 drawrings at different points during his intoxication, and there's a commentary of his actions during the experiment.

Words fail me. This is just weird.
6 looks pretty cool though.
And 5 was kinda entertaining "I'll draw his face with one stroke!"
7 looks interesting like the face of the man has melted into the wind (And "Patient makes last 6 strokes while running back and forth across the room")
8 still looks like the wind thing, but lol to "This pencil is mighty hard to hold" when it's really a crayon...

er... actually, "part of a test conducted by the US government during it's dalliance with psychotomimetic drugs in the late 1950's". Not sure what it could mean, but there you have it...

I'm sorry, but that was an extremly ignorant statement. Drugs, of all kinds, have proven positive qualities, and many have very few if any negative qualities when used appropriatly(sp?).

Depending on your emotional state when using whatever, you could become horribly emotionally dependant on whatever and is more likely to overdose.
serebii: The artist became repressed when the LSD wore off. That's not good, and can lead to addiction.

For starters, LSD is not chemically addictive, nor is it an experience that one "craves." It's possible for one to get into the habit of using LSD, but in the same sense that one might get into the habit of brushing their teeth at a certain time of day. You certainly wouldn't commit suicide for lack of the drug.

That all depends on one's definition of "bad". LSD has many many positive psychological uses, and therapy including the use of the drug has shown improvement in and even curing of many psychological disorders.

Not if you're already high on other drugs and so drunk, you can overdose.

Actually, most people who use psychedelic drugs such as LSD, Extacy, and Marijuana are some of the most responsable people around.
I know so much about drugs because I read a lot (google is a wonderful tool) and I have personal experience with a few drugs.
