When a post gets really long and you want to post in it do you read the whole thing or just what the topic is about and make a post on the subject. I don't i just post my reply the topic.

I try, but sometimes I'm out for the day, or my sleeping schedual gets effed up, and you guys go at it like rabbits. At that point I just check and see what the latest is in ever topic, and usually dont bother replieing.

Yes, I do. Unless it's 600 page long. I encountered a 600-page long thread in a different forum once. I didn't bother to read all of it.

The largest topic I've ever saw was about 112, with 15 replies on each page. Gotta be crazy to read that.

Our largest is 131 with 10 posts per page, the I will start a sentence thing. And it's way too pointless to even try to read.

If it's new and way too long, I just ignore the whole thing altogether. But if I've been to it before, I always make sure to read the posts that were made since last time. When you don't do that, it just makes you look stupid.

I only read the entire topic if it was created by someone who doesn't make pointless topics. Half of the time, I don't read parts of the topics I make. But it does make you look like a noob if you don't read the last 10 posts...

I'll read the topic untill I find a post worth replying to, and after about 5 pages, I quit.

Generally I try to read everything that's been said, simply because I'm curious and try to see what's going on and has happened, but if it's just too long, I won't. If I'm replying to a topic, though, I usually try to read it all through; this applies expecially if it's a debate-type topic or something similar, for those generally require that you read others' posts and respond to the opinions voiced in those posts.

It's kinda annoying, though when people post about the first post when you're in the middle of a discussion.

ya,but some people do taht because they have nothing to add to the conversation so they add something that they know from the beginning
