"that will run every PC game due for release in the next century."

Probably a bit exaggerating though...maybe in the next 10-20 years, but not hte next century.

Yeah, some major breakthrough will make that giant thing obsolete.

But my goodness... I wonder how many hardcore gamers will get themselves one of those?

The only problem with owning one of these cards is you'd need about 20 of the latest CPUs in order to feed it data quick enough that the CPU wouldn't become a massive bottleneck. Of course, they're designed for integrated graphics computers and engineers, not really gaming!

Even if you run it at the bottleneck of your dual core amd 5000+, you'll still have fairly good performance smile.gif

Over in the gaming world there was a huge discussion about this a while ago. Lol. The final view was no one but licensed companies will buy it, and the few lucky rich guys out there. Because the card is so good, our CPU's out for the public today will essentially just 'bottleneck' it's performance, making it rather pointless to buy for the next decade or so.

And ofcourse, it's for rendering/other engineering type issues, not gaming.

Although, it would be my dream to have ofcourse cool.gif
