Yes, but I think you mean Glenn Frey.

I was born in the wrong decade. All the good music was made in the 70's-90's. The music of today stinks worse than my gym shoes.
-EDIT-
I like almost anything with a good guitar part in it. Notice I said "almost" to all those people out there who like to twist what I say.

Some current music is pretty good. But I agree with you. Now, all there is is pop, rap, and pop rock.

Top 5:
1# Children of Bodom - Lake Bodom
2# Sevendust - Enemy
3# Kotiteollisuus - Minä olen
4# Klamydia - Krapula tulee
5# Lordi - Hard Rock Hallelujah (just for ESC 06

)
I like all kinds of rock, hard rock especially, heavy metal and just chill music which makes me feel good (for an example Bob Marley - Bad boys)
Apparently not many like "heavier" music like I, especially Finnish (I bet most of you never heard of the bands I mentioned)

Not all of the new music is pop, rap, or hip-hop. There is metalcore, hardcore punk, screamo, and new punk bands. Although punk was started in the 1960's and 70's, there has been a revival in the late 90's and the 2000's.
