Someone hijacked lappy's account, sending me random crude messages, adding to my warn level for no reason, etc.

I'm not even sure that this topic will show up. It's apparent to me now that the person made it so that none of my posts show up until they're approved by a moderator. If a moderator happens to stumble upon this, help?

This is serious; I will now be manually disabling and reenabling my account when I use it, until I find a solution.

we need to find the source of the problem, or kl could have an even bigger problem than the kc incident.

Most likely I can patch it; it's probably a recent security patch I have not applied to this forum.

It seems we have had another bobbyd1234 incident. Is there anyway to ban his IP address Lappy? I am not sure if he hijacked your account, but he was posting profanity and spam as far as the eye could see. It would also be helpful to know how to permanently ban someone.

You saved your image as a bitmap. Open your image, go to "Save As," and in the drop-down menu below the textfield where you name your file, choose PNG instead of 24-bit bitmap.

However, there is no way of getting passwords, since this uses one way encryption to encrypt your password. To check if it is the same password, it encrypts your password and checks with the previously encrypted password to see if it's correct.
