When someone spells lke dis on a post, I think we should warn them. I mean, there are too many arrogant noobs on the site. It's annoying to read stuff like that. Also, when one registers, I think they should be taken automaticly to the FAQ and Spam guide. This will prevent ignorance of the rules.
I vote yes

I vote yes as well. Although, with the spelling and grammar, it needs to be extremely unintelligible to be warned. And there should be a three strike rule. As in the first time it happens, they do not get warned, but they are told about it. The second time, depending on the circumstances, they can be warned, or they can just be told again. The third time, they will be warned.

Maybe mods could be given the power to go in and edit the posts for them.

But they still get warned. And what about being taken directly to the rules page?

Or they could be taken to the rules page and each time they log are taken to the rules page and cannot get out of the rules page until a certain time is up. Say, maybe a day at a time?

And when someone comes back from a ban, the rules timer restarts.

YES! He make these spamming topics. But it's in the unregulated forum... We should have it so that you have to be approved by a mod to post in the unregulated forums.

Then what is the point to the unregulated forum? I have given him a 1-day suspension. Maybe he will learn. I have had to tell him at least five times now.

on both the spelling rule and the rule to take people who come on to the forums to be taken directly to the spam guide

It's already in the spam guide. Being taken to the Spam & FAQ guides after registering requires coding (I think) and is an inconvience since most people won't read it anyway (yeah, they'll read it like they read through every page of a topic).
I vote no

Heh, only one tag? I was way off on that >_>
The only thing that would stop people from not even glancing at the rules is an open-webpage quiz. That'd scare alot of people off...

Some people need to be scared off. I may have to ban halo1234. This is exactly the type that should be scared off.
