Okay, since there's been so much arguing and such about this, I propose that we have a contest, where the first person to say anything bad, even imply anything bad, about Sony or Nintendo, will be banned for 3 days. This also includes saying something good about one of the brands in a topic about the other one. The contest will continue until everyone banned as a result of this has been unbanned.
If you want this to happen, but with a lesser consequence, then say "Yes, but..."
KC: Yes
Genesis: Yes
lappy512: No
myscrnnm: Yes

But who gets to be the judge of what's "implied" bad about a company?
Yes, but I think that the first person to say something bad will get a 10 day ban plus a 200 point fine (since I don't participate in these discussions about gaming companies anyway. Its a big waste of time.)

No, it's silly to do this; banning one person beacuse he is a fanboy.

Well myscrnnm keeps pestering me to ban the fanboys permanently. I figure that this is a pretty good compromise, especially considering that myscrnnm could get banned if it turns out that he was being hypocritical. Also, if it's agreed to, then it's all good. Right? And it might calm down some of the burning hatred.

The satisfaction of proving the fanboy(s) wrong.

In most cases, it would indeed be silly and childish. But here, it is the Nintendo-fanboys who are immature and childish, so justice must be served.

Oh, the hatred will always be there. I don't very much like people that don't admit they are wrong, and I'm too far into my "evil master plan" to do much about it.
@myscrnnm: Oh yeah, and there's a particular Sony fanboy that is immature and childish as well.

I doubt it. If a person is supportive of Sony, they must be mature. Let's look at it logically:
If I support Sony, then I am mature.
I support Sony.
We can conclude that I am mature.

Ahaha, that's one of the most childish things ever. There's a term that psychologists use for this, and it is illogical logic, or something along that lines. Children at five years of birth supposedly has their logic fully developed (which means no illogical logic), but I guess they made an exception. It shows how immature you really are, especially when you have the ego to call yourself mature.

It is not illogical logic. It is excellent logic. Otherwise known as material implication.

Logically, if both of the first 2 statements are true, then the 3rd statement is also true. However, you just pulled the first statement out of nowhere. You pretty much just made it up, nothing to support its validity or anything.
Also, a 3-year old could be a big fan of Sony.

Just because you are young does not mean that you are immature.
This doesn't work: If you are young, then you are immature.
If this boy likes Sony, then we can deduce that he must have at least some maturity.

Immature and young are synonymous.
Meanwhile, you have no proof that liking Sony means that you are mature.
Also, it's a 3-year-old! What maturity could he possibly have? He doesn't even know what Sony is.

Immature-exhibiting less than an expected degree of maturity
Young-being in the first or an early stage of life
