Primotech writes "Betanews has word that Microsoft and Yahoo plan to link their respective IM clients again so that users of both can communicate with each other on one, shared network. Facing threats from third-party applications, like Trillian and Skype, the two tech giants will claim 44% of the instant messaging market, analysts predict. They will also go head to head together with the biggest competitor, AOL."
Don't know anyone who might use Yahoo, but I know people who use AOL and GTalk

I don't use yahoo... and everyone I know that uses it also has MSN. I guess this will make it a little easier though, especially since I'm converting to GTalk,

I've signed up for everything I could find ever since I got GAIM.

Man, why does everyone use GAIM? That thing has a really bad interface. Trillian is the way to go . Except it doesn't do gtalk... meh.
Yah, this would be good. It would go far to destroying AOL, which is way too outdated to stay alive much longer.

Google Talk is overrated. I use it, but I don't see why it is so good, besides its minimalist design.
