Have you seen the movie? A game based on it is totally uncalled for. You'd be ripping people's body parts off, cutting their fingers off, making them scream for your pleasure... that is just messed up. Horror films: not a good idea for games.

Surely if its a good game there should be some press by now....

I agree with alexmaccoll the moive "hostel" was so gory. Also most moive game tie-inns were sub-par not good not bad. What would the story be about. If there was money with the cheat code what would you buy. Also in the moive they people that were kidnapped never fough back with guns. If they ever make this game it might be a whole different game with the same name as the moive. There is another problem when someone makes a moive game tie-in they relese it around the same tiem as the moive.
