no pictures work it either says there is a problem or says it works and has a cross in the corner and white every where else

1. What file type is it, and what file is it?
2. What is the exact error message you get?

Also, try getting your image hosted somewhere else and using the URL here.

Oh I get it now. The websites you were trying to use the images from didn't like the idea of people hotlinking their images.

Upload it to a Free Image Host or something...there's two in the links around this forum on the main page or the footer.

i hotlinked a image from a site that said dont hotlink ,it siad "IMAGE ILLEGALLY HOTLINKED FOR FORUMS.KRAZYLETTER.COM"woah.not trying that again....

I linked to a picture from an angelfire site. it was fine in the beginning, but within an hour, an angelfire logo became my avatar...
