Process to pass a Proposal
To Pass a proposal, there are a few steps.
#1 Submit a Proposal
If you are a elected member, you may submit a proposal by posting a topic with your proposal in the "Proposal Submissions" folder, and try to make it as accurate as possible, otherwise the proposal might have major delays while in the next process.
#2 Refining a Proposal
When there is enough room in the "Pending Proposals" forum, the oldest submissions in the "Proposal Submissions" folder will be moved into the "Pending Proposals" forum. In there, it will have a status of either:
-New
-Editing
-Elected Decision (ED)
-Accepted/Vetoed
New
When a Proposal is first moved into the "Pending Proposals" forum, the status is set to new, and the topic would be like this: "32 NEW FAQ Change", the 32 being the ID number (assigned when the topic is first moved into the "Pending Proposals" forum, NEW being the status, and "FAQ Change" being the subject of the Proposal.
When a proposal is new, it waits until there is no other topic that is in the Editing stage. Then it goes into the editing stage.
Editing
When a proposal is in the Editing stage, all four KPolitics Members MUST post either: I agree, or propose a change, quoting what will be changed to what. After all four KPolitics members post that, each member must post a post saying if they agree or not to each change. The Elected member's vote counts as two votes. After they all vote, then the changes are all applied, unless 3/5 members (the elected counting as 2 members) post something saying that there needs to be another change (all concerning the same part of the proposal), then it will go through this process again. If not, it's status will be changed to Elected Decision.
Elected Decision
When a topic's status becomes this, the Elected Member either Accepts or Vetos the proposal. If accepted, the proposal will go into the "Proposals to be put into effect" forum.
Vetos
If Vetoed, the proposal will change status to Vetoed, and if all three senators vote to pass the bill, the bill will be passed. If not, then the bill gets deleted.
That's all folks! Here's how the process of a proposal works!
