This will get you into a live chat, and I've gotten it to integrate it with IPB!

As said before, if you have a password with a special character (!@#$%^&*), it will not work, because of security reasons (with flash itself, not PHP)

One thing you can do with this is to leave it in the background and check it periodically to see if people are on there

I would just like to request that the "See who's online" popup link be added to the Kchat page, as I'm paranoid and just plain dont want to run into certain people.

It is possible to block people in the chat.

Where do you want that popup link?

Update: I installed the socket server, and now the chat is working MUCH faster. There's no more lag.

No you WON'T be fine. Predators can see anything through chats, IMs, etc. They can pinpoint your exact house through IPs. They can trick people into meeting them in random places. Remember that time when you got fallen-x's house through his IP?

That, actually, was incorrect. That's actually the location of his ISPs servers (he didn't know that though). For example, I resolve to Petursburg, IL, when I am actually in Riverton, IL. You can't figure out where someone lives by IP without access to ISP records, which requires a subpoena.

First of all, it's not that easy to get an IP address. Typically, only the server gets the IP address information.

Second, it's not that easy to pinpoint the house that the IP address belongs to. Only your ISP can do that. Others might be able to find your general location, but only your ISP can say exactly, specifcally which house.

Third, I bet you have sharp teeth. If anyone tries to rape you, make him/her bleed for it.

The fact is that becasue Myspace is so easy for predators to predate, they don't do it anywhere else anymore
