I'm writing a story, here's how it is so far...

By the way, wyvern are small dragons, no more than 4-5ft long...

Five Wyvern circled high above the lone stag, as a hawk would stalk a rabbit. Their undersides were a dull mixture of blue and gray, blending perfectly into cold winter sky. The drygns' scaly backs, however, glittered the same white as the snow on the ground. White, feathered wings gracefully spanned from their backs. Their heads were snake-like, with long ivory fangs, and identical in every way, except for the one in the middle, which had a large crest on the top of its head. This one was the largest, and the apparent leader, with a wingspan of over six feet, and topping four feet from snout to tail. A gray twilight fell over the forest, and the stag stopped, turned, and then continued moving, but this time at a much slower pace. It had to slow down, watch for any wolves or other creatures of the night that would be stalking it. The stag tensed. The head Wyvern shrieked and dove at the stag, taking the slow of the deer's pace as a cue to attack. The deer bolted, but the Wyvern were gaining more speed with every second. All five of them stuck their wings out, breaking in the air as they clawed and bitted with the grim efficiency of wild dogs. The deer swung its noble head, trying to break away from the hungry beasts that were preying on it. The deer, wounded and dying crumpled onto the ground as it moaned a long, sad note that echoed through the forests of Waelden that bloody night.

I think this should be in general forums.

But nice story. smile.gif

wow, good story biggrin.gif

one suggestion, when you say a wingspan of 2 meters, you go on to say 4 feet long. you should keep measurements in a constant system, to make it sound more foreign though make it all meters, but if you want the dragons to sound more familiar, use standard.
