Sigh, I remember back when it was just a term for an electronic device...

Anyways, continuing from that "Line" article, personally it doesn't really bother me, unless they're blocking the hallways or something.

So, any comments/thoughts/off-topic posts about how Devil May Cry 3 rocks?

If you want to make out go to the bathroom
Actually it don't care a crap. If you make out just do it somewhere where it doesn't block everyone...

Move into a corner or something. I'm sick of trying having to beat the crap out of couples who are blocking the entrance to my class 2 seconds before the bell rings. Better yet, do it at home, or even in at the movies. Somewhere where I wont have to kick your arse to get by.

Exactly what is PDA anyway? Making out?

Somewhat. What is considered PDA (Public Displays of Affection) depends on the person. So it could additionally include less affectionate gestures too (less than making out).

I know that in JROTC, while in uniform there is absolutly NO pda of any kind. Hugging, holding hands, OUT! None of it.

Ditto here (with Civil Air Patrol). We represent USAF, so we can't have any of that stuff in uniform. If it's bad enough, we can get B2d (the form for seperation from CAP).

Forget JROTC anyway, it doesn't adequately prepare you for the real ROTC (according to a current ROTC cadet), and plus, CAP actually does stuff that makes a difference (we perform 9 out of 10 hours of inland search and rescue mission assigned to the Air Force [all downed civilian aircraft, since they run the AFRCC laugh.gif], assist the US ARMY in disaster relief, plus many other things). And plus, after one year (10 months too many, stupid PFT) I finally got my cadet airman stripe (note - so it doesn't look bad on me, anyone under 18 is a cadet).

I forgot JROTC about two seconds after they told me I had to cut my hair. lol. I'd rather shoot people with paintball and airsoft markers, go on campouts that would make the vietcong look like pussies, and toke up.
lappy512
Anyone care to explain all these acronyms?
Spaceman3750
JROTC = Jr. Reserve Officer Training Core
CAP = Civil Air Patrol

HL, ever heard of a BIVWAC (not sure if that's the correct spelling of the acronym, don't ask me what it means)? Apparently CAP does 'em. Basically campouts that most likely make the vietcong look like pussies laugh.gif. Heck, we have a cadet who has out push-uped navy, airforce, and marines recruiters at the local airshow before laugh.gif. But you have to cut yer hair laugh.gif.

I'll try searching
B2d -Back to Desktop (software, crash); Business to Distributor possibly misspelled 2BD as in TO be Determined
ROTC -Reserve Officers' Training Corps
AFRCC -Air Force Rescue Coordination Center
lol -Laugh out Loud
US ARMY - United States Army
PFT -Permanent Full Time / Pulmonary Function Tests
BIVWAC -some online multiplayer game Possibly bivouac
1 : a usually temporary encampment under little or no shelter
HL -HerLoss
PDA -Public Display od Affection
Spaceman3750
BIVWAC - In this case, referrs to a camp.

Wow, this brings back old old memories at E. Junior High. What happened was that I was walking along the halls, and these two people were holding hands and talking lovingly right outside my class door. I waited for like 3 minutes, trying to get them to pass, and then became just plain annoyed. Luckily, there was a crowd coming down the hall and I joined them. In the confusion...POW...I swung my binder at the boy's leg, and in surprise, he threw his arms forward. This made it look like he was doing something very inappropriate to the girl.

Girl: What the heck?!
Boy: No, wait, but that wasn't...
Girl: You're SICK! Get away from me!

She pushed him away and stormed off. So I finally got to go in my class without any further obstacles biggrin.gif
KRAB_BORG
well, just to let you know, PDA is mostly the girls fault. Any guy should know that girls crave their guys being affectionate in public and they consider it a severe burn if you dont want to. Most of the time, they want to be seen with you. Even though girls will almost always deny it.

Yes, except KC never went to "E" Junior High School, and I doubt he had anything to do with a couple.

serebii
I broke up a couple today. My favorite quote from today:

Girl: I didn't know you had such urges!
Boy: Wha.. But... um...
Girl: (Slaps boy in face)
Boy: (Stunned)
Girl: (Tears Streaming) We've been going out for four years! I didn't even know you!
Boy: But.....
Girl: *Crying* It's over!
Boy: *looks like he's going to cry*

Like a TV drama. A soap opera, you know.
