As a game, how do you guys like Madness Interactive? Is it fun? Is it boring after a while? Are the controls too hard?
Well...
Style: I think this game really stands out because of it's mainly grayscale colorscheme, at least that's what I noticed the first time I saw it, for me, that gives it a pretty memorable trait.
Gameplay: Wave after wave of baddies (are they baddies? oh well

), suprisingly it never got tiring. The game always mixes things up by sending in flying enemies or some suicidal ones, so the game's got quite a lot of variety. The only problem I could see here is that the enemies are always dispatched in the same order, so I suppose if you got stuck on the second level or something (happened to me) that could really get old fast. The upgrade system works well, though giving yourself too much bullet time gets sorta boring.
Controls: Eh, they could have been better. My main complaint is if you accidently click outside the game screen then by the time you finish re-adjusting, you've already been shot by the onslaught of baddies. The controls do take a while to get used to, so you could find yourself stuck on the first two levels for a while.
Violince: Well it's pretty bad...though I've seen worse...
Anyway, despite it's shortcomings in the controls, Madness Interactive is a very entertaining game.
