if you need the Xbox 360 game template, message me.
lappy512
pretty nice, what is the background of, though? what level in Halo 2? And did you draw that picture of the Arbiter?

Also, the ESRB logo looks slightly out of place (Too blurry, and has the white borders along the vertical sides)
myscrnnm
Here is a template that is smaller, but crisper.

hmm...the background is high charity from bungie.net
master chief is a render from bungie .net
arbiter is from google image search biggrin.gif
Logos are from a friend

Korps Commander
I wonder - is Halo 3 going to be coming out for Xbox, or just Xbox360?
onceuponatime
So basically you pasted together 3 images and several logos together in an image editing program?

The quality is nice, however. smile.gif

Good stuff, what's with the bad quality though.

Don't worry, I've provided a higher-quality template.

Do you have a Halo 3 banner with a transparent background that I can use, please?

yes, but if you want i can give you a .mix file of the entire template instead ant then u can modify it as you wish.

otherwise, i can upload the Halo banner, but since GIF and JPG can't have transparent background i can give u one with black background and you can "erase by color" or use the magic wand tool (depending on what editing program you have)

Yep, it's just really bad quality.
lappy512
PNG also has transparent backgrounds, and they have JPEG-like quaity.

Question: On average, does PNG or JPEG have better quality?

I thought PNG, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, it's PNG, cuz JPEG loses information when you save it.
lappy512
PNG, because JPEG is lossy compression (try typing in some words in paint, and then save it as JPEG, it will get blurred), while PNG is lossless, making PNG better for logos and stuff. But, for things like pictures, it blurs anyways, so JPEG should be fine for pictures, and there's no point converting a JPEG into a PNG, because there's no quality change, because JPEG already threw out the info.

But if you kept on saving an image with JPEG, then wouldn't it continue to lose more information? And therefore be better to convert it while you can?

No, because the first time it's saved, it'd already have scrapped the information it can't use, so if it's saved again, it doesn't need to scrap it again.

Speaking of which, it doesn't work, as well as the one from earlier.
zombieman3421
what do you mean by it dosen't work
Mynck
It doesn't work unless you wanted it to say "Image hosted by tripod."

Apparently, it won't let you hotlink. Maybe you see it correctly because you have it cached.
lappy512
go directly to where the image is located, and refresh. That will make it work.

Next time, use www.imageshack.us for your images. smile.gif
