Science. I'm into technical stuff, and science is very technical

Math is mine, i am a math geek (as in i like to do math, not be a ll having math obssesion) and i am proud of it, i was the best math person in Elementary school, but i am having a little trouble with math in explaining it (BOO)

Humanities is by far my best subject.

I like science. Math is a second. But I like my elective, Computer Graphics, because I pretty much get to do whatever for half of the time. That's also where I learned CSS, and got back into JS.

My best grade is in Humanitys, but math is my favorite subject

I don't go to ICS, but whatever.
Spanish is definitely the best class. (because my spanish teacher is the coolest)

Math is easy, especially the math classes where you dont have to actually memorize stuff. Statistics kinda sucks when its all about formulas, but if you have enough surface area on the underside of your arm, its not all that bad.
If anyone wants to do my physics homework for the next year they're welcome to.

Math is easy. It's my best class.
-EDIT-

yep, remmeber when our teams always got first and second places?

Dec 5 2005, 07:47 PM
Eh...? Who is he?
And memorization isn't that hard.

pi = 3.14159265358979323846264...
although I bet some people here could tell us more of the digits... (also I'm not too sure about the last 2 digits up there)

Screw variables like pi, e, root 2, etc. I mean like the quadratic formula ((-b +/- root(b^2+ac))/2a) Compound interest P(1+r/n)^(nt), stuff like that.

QUOTE(Mynck @ Dec 5 2005, 07:47 PM)
I would be Allen.
And forget about the quadratic formula and stuff like that.
Go Logarithms!!! (i like logs)
Mynck
Dec 5 2005, 08:05 PM
Our science book says that the visible light spectrum is less than a millionth of a percent of the whole electromagnetic spectrum, but logarithms tell me that it's about 1.6 percent. The quadratic formula is easy enough, and compund interest is like, intuitive!

Whatever, i still like logarithms.

It doesnt makes sense to have to memorize formulas like that when, in real life, you could very easily have them right in front of you.

Same with my math teacher. He sounds like he has a stuffy nose all the time. Also, he has a unusual sense of irony when he doesn't like someone who did something.

My science teacher tends to tell us 'amusing' and 'interesting' stories about her dead dog named Woodpile, and her new poodle named Stanley.
I don't freakin' care about her dogs, dead or alive.
zombieman3421
Dec 5 2005, 10:55 PM
what does her dog have to do with Science?????????????????
Mynck
Dec 5 2005, 11:21 PM
Lol, our science teacher share stories that are actually amusing and interesting. Although the ones that he lets some of our classmates share are better. They usually involve doing stupid stuff or mistreating a pet.

Actually, Bio is way too easy, no real challenge, but art, spanish and math are actually challenging, and you are always playing calculater games during Bio

Spanish and math are easy

If it weren't for participation points, that's what I'd be doing in math.

Biology is too hard to understand, especially when you are in a science class 2 years ahead of your time, like I am.

er imo. Its just like math, minus the memorization of formulas.
zombieman3421
Dec 9 2005, 12:19 PM
if you think math is simple, then you should be able to handle 5 tests in it in a month, like some people have to do
Genetics is not easy, and we are learning all the things for it, including the charts to make for it
Herloss
Dec 9 2005, 12:26 PM
Like, pedigree charts? Those are the easiest thing on the planet, right next to tying ones shoes. Same thing goes for those square things... where you put in the genes of two organisms to find out the probability of their offspring having certain traits.

Genetics sounds fun. I can't wait to try it. Seriously. Calculus doesn't sound fun, though.
Senor Halo Blue 9
Dec 10 2005, 06:20 AM
Yes I agree, but I would not mind calculus. I plan on majoring in Genetics or something in the scientific field. Calculus would not be bad. Maybe Physics. I don't know but something in that field eventually.
Herloss
Dec 10 2005, 08:17 AM
Genetics is pretty fun, but it gets boring after awhile. We spent a whole quarter on it in my sophomore bio class. Calculus is just one of those things thats wicked hard right untill it clicks, then its nothin. Physics is the same way. I missed 3 classes in a row, and when I got back I had absolutly no clue what was going on, but after a day or two I just suddenly understood it.

One of my cousins, at the end of the year in physics, there teacher was sitting in the field and the students had a launcher and pies, they had to calculate the power and tragectory without a calculator and then try to launch it at there teacher
He said it was cool and real fun
Herloss
Dec 10 2005, 12:19 PM
Were they allowed pen and paper? were they given the distance? If you get those it shouldnt be that hard, and even without pen and paper you could probobly figure it out. Sounds fun anyways.
zombieman3421
Dec 10 2005, 02:24 PM
yeah, they all hit there teacher and he was coverd in pie
ANd you had to calculate the distance, i think

Well I voted French because I'm up at 1:04 am on a Friday going crazy over my work (hence my... krazyletter-ing) but...
I LOVE Spanish because, it's sooo pretty and because Sra. Robertson is AMAZING... lol
then IS, blehhhhhh... it was funner with Mr. Over! Minus the tests, they were... highly minusable
I love art, but WE AREN'T DOING ANYTHING UGHHHH! and comeau never gives us enough time for anything. grrr
I sleep in math...
Humanities can either be really awesome or a huge pain... like the fact that our first essay is due the day before HD
ES... Murphy's awesome... but I don't really like.. the Earth...
yeahhhhhhhhhh
okay back to work now YAY!
