I know some people have started to use VOIP (Voice Over IP) phones, but I've also heard of the obvious disadvantages, such as the 911 dispatcher not knowing where you live.

I was wondering if anyone had VOIP from Vonage, or any other provider, and would care to provide some information about the quality and the reliability and cost of the service.
