In West Philadelphia, two 16 year olds were arrested for theft after trying to ransom a stolen iPod. Apparently, they had just robbed a woman's apartment, and arranged a meeting with the woman. A disguised police officer was sent to pose as the victim. Later, the iPod was returned, and the thieves apprehended.

Ransom? That's stupid. Why not just sell it, and avoid risk of police?

Like I said, they weren't very smart in doing so. And like I said, isn't this a lot funnier than some of the stuff that Alice posts?
