So my Sony VAIO laptop is beeping in long pulses, mostly when turned on after hibernating. Anyone know what this means?
-----Edit-----
Ok, now it's been beeping for like 3 minutes straight, and it's still beeping.

Anything on the screen? If not, it could be some sort of BIOS beep code. Continuous beeps generally indicate a memory error, if memory serves (pun intended).

Ok thanks, it's probably overheating.

I think you should get a new blower for your pc. Also check any cables you might have pluged into it

For laptops, a blower wouldn't fit well. Try um... turning down the clock speed of some components

if you have the F5 button stuck down, it beeps. That happened to me.
