How do you keep track of passwords when you sign up for multiple sites?
Also, if you use one or two passwords, how do you deal with school/work when you have to change your password every once in a while, and cannot use old passwords?
What I do, I use variants of a couple passwords.
For school, I use stupidly stupid passwords.
For example, my school passwords were like:
OFCOURSETHISISMYP@$$word!!!
133th4x0r
P@$$word
KLR0XXOR
IFORGOTMYP@$$word
etc, etc.
How about you?
P[bleeped!]WORD? that is pretty weak
^^^ I copied from lappy's post, I didn't mean to use that word
Anyways, I remember my 10 or so and I am suprised I do, I just have so many accounts that I use them enough to remember them.
Except for some forum accounts and other non important stuff my passwords are 12 chars up and are often patterns eg.

I only use three or so passwords, (at one point I was actually using "password"), but its hard to remember what one go to which, cuz like every year I make a new one and just use it for new sign-ups on various sites.

I just remember all my passwords, since I have a different password for every forum I go to.

I just have three passwords, all containing numbers. When I need to change them at school, I just incriment the number.
At school I use passwords that are just stupid things I make up, like what Lappy posted.

Some of my passwords follow a pattern
Some of them are stupid and hard to forget
Once, I used "stupididiotsforgetpasswords"
Also, there was "Thisismysuper1337password" or something like that

A lot of people write their password down and then tape it to the bottom of their keyboard. I'm sure that's secure.

I always remember my passwords in my head. But for the excruciatingly long password for my home's wireless network, I have it saved on my Pocket PC.

I usually smash my keyboard and whatever comes up is my p/w, then write it down somewhere.

That's weird. Cuz usually even when they ask you to create a password, the text is shown as dots or asterisks. But I guess what works will do.

See, no one can hack into your brain, or steal it. At least, we don't have that technology yet. Unless you are hypnotized. So there is really no safe place for a password to be stored. Which is why I push for hypnotizing to be banned from the country of the U.S.A. except for medical purposes.
